Tweed peplum top c/o Sugarlips

Today has been a catch-up day in terms of sewing.. finishing up the 1920s coat (finally) and a velvet dress I owe a friend, plus hemming several vintage dresses that will be in an early February shop update. Lots of stitching, cutting, seam ripping, and countless podcast listens on the first sunny day of the week.
I took a break in the afternoon to have lunch with Neil at Coffee, Lunch (get the tofu sandwich, you won't be sorry) and we made a quick run to the library, where I wore this out. Sugarlips kindly sent me their tweed peplum top which is fully lined and so, so comfortable. I am wearing the extra small but it's slightly oversized, so I balanced out the bulk on top with more bulk on bottom with voluminous printed pants I found at Forever21 a couple months back. The tweed has a static pattern to it - I like it paired with the sketch print of the trousers.
