ASOS crepe suit in berry
Madewell silk blouse
Young Frankk brass necklace
Vintage fringe loafers
Lately life has taken a turn towards business meetings and freelance assignments, and my casual, young-ish wardrobe doesn't reflect that. So, I jumped at the chance to buy my first two piece suit.
Dressing the part for business is an interesting challenge.. how do you add personality to a black suit and a briefcase in a crowd of black suits with briefcases? Something I'm still figuring out (with some help).
I turned to ASOS for this set, since they offer a decent selection of suits in all sizes, and I love the rich fall color. Honestly, there is something about wearing a suit that makes you feel capable.. I look forward to wearing them to interviews and sending any little girl lace dresses still hiding in my closet to the thrift store (lesson learned, just because I fit into them doesn't mean I should wear them).
Do you have any business dress tips you use?
