Before we moved to Savannah last summer, we visited a clothing store called ARC on Broughton Street that carried brands like APC and Folk, plus some great vintage. ARC sadly closed before we had a chance to visit again, but this fall a new shop took its place, run by the same owner.
Prospector Co. specializes in skin and shave products for men and women. All Prospector-line goods - products like the Burroughs Beard Oil and Cedarwood Cleanser - are made in Georgia by the shop owner's family and crafted with natural ingredients like oak moss oil, chamomile extract, and even wormwood.
On our last visit, we picked up some lotion and a guaiac wood flame candle, which, at the rate we've been burning it, will need a replacement soon. The earthy scent is mild enough to keep burning all day, even during meals. It smells like a campfire.
Besides Prospector Co.'s own line, the store also carries a variety of goods, both wearable and for the home. Wallets by KMM Leathergoods, Tiro Tiro jewelry, and Japanese stoneware are among some of my favorites.
